Cadet Pedals Keyway Jig
thingiverse
I know, I know. I spent more time designing and printing this jig than it would have taken to screw it up manually a few times. But I am a perfectionist and it would pain me to screw up Vince's awesome set of Pedals on the last step by screwing up the fiddly process of marking, aligning and cutting matching keyways on a round pipe. Now you other perfectionists out there can benefit from this tool. 1. Cut PVC to 170mm per Vince's instructions. 2. Wrap this jig around your PVC and use the spanner piece to align the two ends. 3. Roll the jig on it's side and drill your four pilot holes (Do Not try to drill both sides with one pass, it won't line up) 4. Spin the PVC 90 deg until the new holes line up with the 5x10 slots. 5. Carefully keep things aligned and cut the rest of the slots (I used a band saw) 6. Remove the jig and clean everything up with a file.
