This compact, cost-effective caddy holds four CR123 batteries and features a uniquely designed cavity that allows for either +first or -first battery placement. A simple yet effective mechanism retains each battery in place using small ridges on the top flaps. Although it serves its purpose adequately, further refinements are certainly possible. The SCAD file is carefully parameterized to accommodate various battery dimensions and wall thicknesses, making it easy to adapt this design for other types of batteries, different quantities of cells, or alternative arrangements of the cells.
