Caddx Turtle V2 Session-Style Case (now for ND Filters)
thingiverse
I was planning to use the Caddx Turtle V2 in an FPV wing that featured a slot for a GoPro Session. This case has the same form factor and also protects the camera and board. The push button is easily accessible and the SD card slot is available. The lens is recessed from the front edge to provide some protection in a crash. I left the side holes open for any cooling of the board - if needed. Print both halves, no supports required. No gluing necessary. Use two M2 bolts (or similar) for the camera and two M3 bolts (at least 10mm or similar) to hold the case together. I found it easier to install the push-button side of the board first, then put in the camera. Insert the camera bolt and then put on the SD card side. Once fit is good, install the other camera bolt and then the two M3 bolts. UPDATE (Feb 7, 2019): I uploaded a version with 4mm radius rounded corners (instead of 2mm). Also rounded the SD Card slot for easier use. UPDATE (Feb 10, 2019): I uploaded a version with a spot to run a strap through. UPDATE (May 19, 2019): I uploaded a version capable of using Caddx ND Filters. The lens opening is now wide enough to accept the filters without issue.
