Caddx Turtle V2 Pan Tilt
thingiverse
This is a custom-built pan/tilt mechanism designed specifically for the Caddx Turtle V2. A detailed assembly tutorial and demonstration can be seen in this accompanying video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6yvLsiA2TZ4. To ensure accurate printing, all parts have been carefully oriented to their correct position. Printing with a 0.4mm extrusion width is recommended to guarantee proper printing of the thin-walled standoffs. For optimal results, print at low layer height and slow speeds due to the small size of these components. After completing the assembly tutorial, additional reinforcement was added to the base by incorporating "webbing" around the screws that hold the tilt axis in place. Both PLA and PETG filaments have been successfully used for printing this mechanism, with PLA proving slightly easier to work with. However, PETG offers superior durability, especially under hot summer conditions.
