Cactus1

The inspiration for this part originated from a compact, two-armed planter I discovered online. I envisioned something larger and more intricate that could serve multiple purposes. This design represents my initial attempt at creating such an object. Unlike its cactus counterpart, which is asymmetrical with varying arm lengths, this model boasts symmetrical layers of 7 arms each. To give you a better understanding of the completed part, I've uploaded a 45-second video showcasing it with some decorative rings and embellishments: https://youtu.be/XHy83y8ddFM. I'm confident that this design will open up new possibilities for creative users, but as yet, I haven't explored all potential applications. This print took approximately 24 hours to complete at a print speed of 80 mm/sec and a layer height of 0.200 mm. As the part features numerous arm movements, it presents an excellent opportunity for testing your printer's ability to minimize stringing. Therefore, be prepared to make some adjustments during the printing process.
