I crafted this model using cylinders in Maya, infusing them with intricate subdivisions that run seamlessly through every cylinder. Next, I employed soft select to create a distinctive silhouette for my model. Subsequently, I transferred the low-poly into Mudbox where I dramatically increased the subdivision count to an absurd number. After that, I designed my high poly cactus, carefully adding all the necessary details. Finally, I baked and textured my model in Substance Painter with meticulous attention to detail.
