I designed a waterproof adapter to seal the USB port on my GoPro Hero 5 while using an external microphone. As a motorcycle enthusiast, I had to remove the waterproof plug to connect the external mic, so I created this custom part to fit around the USB-C cable and seal the hole left by the removed plug. Now I can ride without worrying about rain. I'm also sharing the SolidWorks file so you can adapt it to other USB cables with a similar shape to the GoPro's. Edit (December 30, 2017): I applied Plastimperm F10 to waterproof the part and rode in heavy rain without any issues. When I removed the USB cable, no water was present near the plug, and the adapter didn't warp or deform due to the rain or UV exposure during my ride.
