This compartment is designed to prevent ventilation loss and enhance cooling of the hotend. Steps: Layer: 0.2mm To attach this compartment, you must remove the fan (2 screws) and its base (2 visible parts). Place the metallic plate onto the cover by lining up the mounting holes with the screws. Reattach the plate and cover (2 screws) then remount the fan with its small metal plate and metal shield (2 screws).
