Caboose's Primitive Quadcopter
thingiverse
The project aimed to create a compact, modular, printable quadcopter body, focusing on simplicity. It consists of a core and four identical arms. Here's the parts list for your reference: Turnigy 2900KV or 1320kv Brushless Outrunner, Turnigy Plush 6A ESCs or HobbyKing 6A ESC with 0.5A UBEC, 5030 Props (alternative 5030R props), 1000mAh 2S NanoTech LiPo battery, KK2 Flight Controller, and various M3 bolts and nuts. Assemble the arms to the body with 12mm or 15mm M3 screws and nuts. Insert 40mm M3 screws into arm ends as landing pins, securing with M3 nuts. Finish by attaching other hardware according to the assembly instructions. The current version includes spacing changes and removal of extra weight; a landing strut is available if desired. This is Version 2, while Version 1 was the initial release. Remember to follow the detailed assembly instructions for optimal results.
