<p>I bought some WS2811 RGB outdoor lights that come with 3pin waterproof barrel plugs. Unfortunately on one of them the end cap was installed backwards so it couldn't be used to screw two plugs together and make a sealed connection. Fixing that would require cutting the cables, turning the bit of plastic 180 degrees and then heat-shrinking the cables back together to make it waterproof. But at that point why bother?</p><p> </p><p>This bit of plastic has cutouts for the connectors with tight fit to not let them separate. Just print two pieces, snap it around the closed connectors and then wrap the whole thing with zipties or tape to prevent it from coming apart.
