Cable Tie Belt Tensioner

Cable Tie Belt Tensioner

thingiverse

Inspired by Roboteernat's Paperclip belt tensioner, I developed an easy and affordable alternative to tighten my printer belts without disassembling or purchasing new parts. You need three cable ties: two small ones for the belt teeth and a longer one to adjust slack. Position the large tie along the flat side of the belt and secure the small ties between teeth. Tighten the large tie to adjust belt tension. This method works well in tight spots, but is a one-way adjustment.
