Cable Staple
thingiverse
I picked up a sleek flat LAN cable to connect my son's PC. I made sure to elevate the cable off the ground, anticipating that someone would likely trip over it (a predictable occurrence).\r\n\r\nThe design is straightforward, as I aimed to minimize the use of any supports. On hand were 14,3mm (9/16") staples, which I had yet to test with different lengths. Simply slipping them onto the cable and tapping them in with a hammer worked.\r\n\r\nTip: Using masking tape to secure the cable while hammering in the staple proved effective. Holding it steady with needle-nose pliers might also be an option.
