Cable shield for Tarot Power Coaxial Cable Plug with XT60
thingiverse
We aimed to connect the Tarot power coaxial cable to an ESC with XT60 plugs for swift disconnection purposes. Since the power cable is a coaxial type, the ground connection is created by curling up the shield of the coaxial cable. This poses a challenge in insulating the XT60 solder points using either shrink wraps or insulation tapes. To address this issue, we designed and 3D-printed a small cover that can be mounted onto the XT60 connector to safeguard the connections. The two halves are secured together by means of a M2x12mm screw and nut combination.
