The way a power cable is constructed makes it quite simple to accidentally cause a break at the base of the wire and connector. I've already experienced this issue with one cable after six months of use. So here's a design for a cable saver for the power cable - a solution that eliminates accidental damage to the cord. I added a small opening so you can still see the charging light while powering your device, and rounded out the end of the saver to prevent it from cutting into the cable over time when disconnecting from your tablet.
