This clip prevents the ribbon cable on the extruder from popping off. Please note that it's been tweaked for my printer, specifically the length of the legs may need adjusting. It's a quick print, so try it out and see if it fits. The v3 version offers better stability in the sides and larger hooks to latch on securely.
