Carl's Aluminum X-Ends (shop.raffle.ch) offer an excellent upgrade for Replicator 2 and 2X machines. To enhance the X-axis wire harness routing, you can use this cable race, designed specifically for Cicoil full-motion cable upgrades. It might also be useful for those with standard harnesses, though minor modifications or tie-wraps may be necessary. M3x6mm screws are suggested, but other reasonable-sized M3 screws should work. This design isn't as elegant as the stock X-end cable harness strain relief, but it gets the job done. However, individual results may vary. To install this part, ensure your printer can print bridges properly. Cleanly remove the 'mouse-ears' with an exacto knife after printing. Feed the cable through the part and attach to the Alu-X-End using M3 screws. Finally, carefully pull any slack in the cable through appropriately.
