I encountered some problems with the Ender 5 cable protection file that most YouTube videos suggest as part of the build process. Initially, it wouldn't slice correctly in Simplify 3D, leaving out crucial sections on the left side. After making some repairs, I discovered that the file was too large for the designated hole. To resolve this issue, I decided to create a new cable protection file from scratch. I took precise measurements of the hole, noting its dimensions as 30mm x 14.9mm, with a wall thickness of 1.2mm. For my setup, which features a 0.3mm nozzle, the new file clicked into place smoothly. However, if you're using a 0.4mm nozzle and experience any issues, please leave a comment so I can make necessary adjustments to ensure compatibility.
