As part of a university robotics project, I designed a penetrator housing that allows easy passage of cables through its 3/8in bore diameter, made of brass and compatible with 3M Scotchcast. The grooved top helps retain potting compound, although it's not essential if the compound chemically bonds well to the material. A Parker 113 O-Ring fits in the face's groove for added sealant security.
