Cable Path Covers for Taz
thingiverse
I'm not really sure how to categorize this project properly because it intersects with several other projects I'm working on, but essentially this is a set of cable covers that allows upper gantry wiring for LCDs, sensors, etc., and lower gantry main wiring to pass without being visible, and in most cases into these extrusion slot covers: http://www.mcmaster.com/#47065t93/=13j4f4b. The lower pieces work best with the Taz 3 control box, although others would also be effective. The LCD back section works with all Taz variants, though the bottom portion is specific to the Taz 3. The Lightbar ends work with my other Lightbar pieces and a new full revision of the Lightbar project is currently in development. I've been posting these files and related development information in my "Sensor Project" thread in the Lulzbot forum here: https://forum.lulzbot.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=2134&start=20. These mainly bolt on, with the ones that require support already having it included in the model. A few M3 heat set inserts are needed for the lower cable path cover, but this is only really necessary for Taz 3 users. More information will be added, including pictures and wiring progress when I reach that stage with this unit. These designs are tailored to work with the Taz specifically, but should also fit many 20mm extrusion based printer designs.
