Cable Pass Through Brush Plate
thingiverse
This is a cable pass-through with a built-in brush barrier, carefully designed to restrict airflow and provide optimal cooling within your cabinet. After extensive research, I couldn't find a comparable unit that boasts finished surfaces on both sides. Instead, this clever design allows you to sandwich a 1/8 to 3/16 inch thick cabinet backer panel between its two halves. To assemble the unit effectively, you'll need some high-quality brush material. I personally recommend using TANIS Brush MB250436, which can be easily sourced on Ebay through their website: https://www.tanisbrush.com/catalog/nylon-fill-galvanized-backing/MB250436 When it comes to securing the brush barrier in place, self-tapping screws are a must. I opted for #4 x 1/2 inch Flat head screws, which provided a secure and reliable fit. To ensure a proper seal, you'll need to trim the bristles of the brush to the desired length. Be sure to check out the accompanying photos for guidance on this crucial step.
