Cable Organizer for Ender Hotend (with Direct Extrusion)
thingiverse
What a great printer! Ender 5 Since one month, my mods on Ender 5 are stable and I'm printing everything I get as filament :-). What happened? I built a housing for my Ender 5 and modified the extruder to direct drive. There were some problems with guiding cables without the risk of jamming, so I built the "Cable Holder and Anti-Jam for Ender 5" (Thing 4236037, https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4236037). For easy and fast changing of the hotend, I created "Cable Guide Ender 5" (Thing 4250583) https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4250583. The last part was to feed cables on the hotend side. So here it is! I tested it one month and it works fine. Please take care of the direction you use in slicer (see picture) for easier printing. The upper dovetail groove is implemented for later extensions. At the moment, you can close it with the plug, if you want, but you don't need to do it. The slider is made to close the cable-channel. I use this thing in combination with the filament box (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4056923) together with the stand and the spool holder.
