Cable Opening Edge

Cable Opening Edge

The openings I cut in the back of my shelf just didn't cut it, so I took matters into my own hands and designed this edge to snap securely into place. It gives everything a more polished look. This little gizmo is specifically made for non-standard size openings. I grabbed a small container from one of my supply boxes, turned it upside down on the surface where I wanted the hole, and drew around its outer edge with a pencil. Then I got out my trusty cutting tool and cut out the holes! My cuts weren't perfectly straight, but that's okay because this design hides all my mistakes and makes everything look nicer and neater! To my pleasant surprise, the first iteration of the design worked flawlessly! It snapped into place without needing any adjustments to the plan. For me, that's a rare occurrence.
