Cablemount8b is a component that fits into the 5.5mm slot on top of gantry carriage plates, as stated in the document (http://www.buildlog.net/documents/c14012_rev_4.pdf). It works with 1/4-inch split-loom tubing, which can be found at Harbor Freight (http://www.harborfreight.com/1-4-quarter-inch-x-14-ft-protective-wire-wrap-66985.html). On the other hand, cablemount5b is yet to be tested and it's designed for attachment to handle plates, also accepting the 1/4 tubing.
