Cable Mount for Ender 3 with Direct Drive
thingiverse
I've had direct drive for a long time and didn't have any cable management issues. After I installed the Ender Extender, I had to loop the cables over the top of the machine to keep them from dragging/snagging the bed. I designed this mount to clean it up while also attempting to keep the cables from making any sharp turns. Slots in the arm for zip-ties and 'hook' on the base keeps things in place. Locks to the stepper mount by: 3 - M3X8 1 - M3X12 (Hole at arm connection point) 4 - M3 T-nuts (What I used but any M3 nut will probably do) Designed so that no supports are needed. I printed with PETG at 100%, but after the fact, I feel that might be a bit of overkill. There isn't too much strain and I believe 50% PLA might be sufficient.
