To achieve a neat appearance, I'll run a heavy-duty 15 Amp extension cord from a dedicated outlet to my workshop through the attic. At the point where it hangs from the ceiling, I designed a cable clip for organization. The clip features a strengthened 90-degree bend and standard drywall screw mounting holes that are counter-sunk. As an alternative, you can find lighter cabling clips on Thingiverse. To print the cable clip, I encountered curling issues, so it needed to be printed on a raft. Before printing in a suitable orientation or arraying the model, make sure to save the blend with modifiers applied. If your cable has a slightly different diameter, you can adjust the wall thickness accordingly; for significant size variations, recreate the inner portion.
