This cable management tray is specifically designed to fit an uplift desk, mounting directly onto the cross bars that support the desktop in its standard position. The Uplift 900 adjustable base features a channel created by the desk supports, but it's not ideal for cable management since there's no base plate. This tray attempts to convert that channel into a functional cable management system. There are two versions of this model available: one with a solid base and another featuring holes that allow cables to pass through if needed. Initially, I planned to use double-sided tape to secure the tray to the frame's sides, but ultimately decided on six 12x3mm magnets per side, along with a single set screw to hold it in place at one end - where a slot is located in the model. The smaller version, lacking a screw, can accommodate eight 12x3mm magnets, though I opted for only four magnets per side. The tray includes cable guides and zip tie or Velcro wrap points to help manage cables. Since I plan to replace my desktop soon, I haven't tidied up the cables yet. I've printed and tested this model, finding it fits well in place. Printing requires supports due to its design. The models are not oriented for printing, so users will need to adjust them accordingly. A STEP file is included for easy remixing of the design. The holes for the 12x3mm magnets are quite tight but can be pressed in with a plastic torpedo level or even secured with a drop of superglue. However, they could likely be pressed in without any adhesive. The intended diameter of these holes is 12.2mm. These cable management trays were specifically designed for the Uplift 900 Desk legs, although they may fit other desk models as well. Below are the approximate dimensions of the inner part of the covers (which would be similar to the size of a channel they can cover). * The larger covers measure between 135mm and 139mm in width (there's a step on these parts that makes them wider at the ends) and approximately 18.4mm deep. * The smaller cover is 137 wide, with a channel depth of about 26.5mm.
