Inspired by Filar3D's original design and Frankincell's innovative light-weight remix. I completely redesigned the part from scratch to achieve my goal of a super-lightweight build. By adding two side pockets, the footprint of the part is now more rectangular in shape. It was designed specifically to be placed upright in a drawer. This redesign requires only about 36 grams of filament, a significant reduction compared to over 100 grams needed for the original design. Print settings are as follows: Each wall measures 0.8mm thick, which allows for two perfect perimeters when using a 0.4mm nozzle. The layer height is set at 0.24mm, ensuring a continuous layer between each of the hexagon perforations. No supports were needed during printing. A brim of 8mm was applied due to the very thin surface area on the bed. A STEP file has been included for your convenience; please feel free to share your remixes and creations.
