Cable Management Auger Style - NinjaFlex or PLA
thingiverse
UPDATE 3/4/2016 My PLA versions of this design have all broken, but the NinjaFlex works wonderfully. If you've had any success with PLA, please share your experience in the comments. Cable Management: I created this design to keep my Prusa i3's cables organized. The photos above show two different versions of this design, one made from PLA (Red) and the other from NinjaFlex (Black). This is a work in progress as I finalize the ideal thicknesses for the different materials. If enough people comment that they want it, I'll develop a customizer for this Make. Side note: The NinjaFlex version of this design is worth the price and extra effort to print it. To print with NinjaFlex, I switch my hotend to the generic block and PTFE tube that came with my kit. For PLA, I use an E3D Clone. With NinjaFlex, I position the PTFE tube as close to the direct drive extruder as possible.
