Cable management
cults3d
As a regular teleworker, I have to connect and disconnect cables on my professional laptop very often. The most annoying thing about this is the fact that the cables to be connected are lying on the floor and are not easily accessible. That's why, I created this grommet that I glued (with double face) on my sideboard under my desk. But this one can very well stick on the edge of a desk, vertically or horizontally, it's up to you. This one allows you to pass from 1 to 4 cables by holes (with rather big ends as for the RJ45) and thus to put in "waiting" the cables. When you need them, just pull it and plug it in. When you unplug them, just drop them or push them back into the cable grommet. I made holes with large radii of entry to make sure I could pull the cables without damaging them.
