Cable Inlet / Strain Relief (for a washing machine)
prusaprinters

This replaces the cable inlet part of a Samsung washing machine (model number unknown), including the strain relief. It has been designed to install a longer power cord for the machine. The original cable is actually fused to the inlet part, therefore the cable inlet has to be replaced along with the cable. The inlet and its strain relief are tight fits for cables of 8mm outer diameter.

Print Settings

Printer:

Flying Bear Ghost 4

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Resolution:

0.2 mm

Infill:

50%

Filament:
any PET-G (but PLA should do, too)
anyPost-Printing=============

Assembly instructions:

Insert the power cord into the kink protector
Then push it into the main inlet part until it sticks out a bit on the other sideSlightly bend the cable away from the strain relief part to be able to pull it through as far as requiredPress the cable into the strain relief (works best using a vice)Add the counter part onto the strain relief and use some epoxy glue to hold it in place (securing it, while the glue is curing, with a vice or using a cable tie pushed through the two matching slots in the strain relief part)Finally, attach the kink protector to the main inlet part using some glue

Category: Replacement Parts
