Cable Hook cults3d

Cable Hook

cults3d scolaro 7117397 Premium

The printer cables behind my desk always had to be picked up from the floor and slid over the edge of my desk in order to connect them. Sometimes they'd slip back to the floor by the time I'd gotten up to grab them. I didn't want a huge cable management rack back there, but something small and simple.

So I created this hook that can hold the cables right underneath the tabletop while they're not in use, so I can reach over the desk and take them from there instead. No more crawling under the desk and fumbling around until the cables are in place.

I totally cheated when it comes to the holes. In order to have maximum stability I printed the hook without holes and only added them later with a soldering iron. Afterwards I screwed it into the table with a thin screwdriver.
