The cable hook is meant to hold cables in place, store cables, and to keep them out of the way. I use mine for an overly long headphone cable that I keep running over with my office chair. you can use this for practically every cable that will fit inside the 3.8 mm gap. (the size does make the gap more flexible so you can in fact fit larger cords.) You can also fit multiple cords inside the hook at once. I designed it to also for the cables to stay in place but still be able to be easily removed when needed.
