A handy cable hook to keep coaxes off the floor and out of drawers. I also use it as a hat rack. I built mine from ABS plastic, which turned out quite sturdy. I like the glossy finish, so I used acetone vapour smoothing to get the desired look. To achieve an even finish from top to bottom, I heat the acetone for 4 seconds until it vaporizes. The glass plate on top helps me see when the vapour reaches the top. Since acetone is denser than air, it stays in the bowl with the glass removed after heating. Remember, don't turn on the burner again once the glass gets wet – you'll be asking for trouble. Acetone is highly flammable. To prepare the hook, drill holes to fit your chosen screws.
