This is a small piece used to secure cables to a baseboard with safety in mind. Designed to fit cables one centimeter in diameter, it provides a reliable solution. To install it securely, use a small finishing nail to tack the hook into the baseboard - consider drilling out the existing pilot hole to make it larger and reduce the risk of splitting the hook. I could have easily spent time driving down to the hardware store searching for these little hooks, but drawing them up and printing them probably took less time. It was certainly a more satisfying experience :^)
