Once upon a time, in a bustling research laboratory, a desk stood tall after years of faithfully supporting cutting-edge computers that pushed the boundaries of human knowledge in science. As time passed, the desk grew old and wobbly, eventually being relegated to the break room to serve as a snack repository for researchers. The desk's top featured two holes that had once guided power cables for the research computers, but now simply allowed crumbs from an assortment of snacks to fall to the floor below. The desk felt embarrassed by its inability to contain the crumbs, and in its old age, longed to regain its former glory.
