The Problem If you are not installing the spoolholder like Creality advises in construction plan, you may run into a problem with the cable of the x-axis (Motor and Swich). Why you should you not follow the instruction of the creator of the printer? Well, the proposal, to mount the holder perpendiculary on the right side of the printer has the advance that filamentspool is out of the reach of the moving printer parts. Great! But you will get some disadvantages too: first, the Spool will increase the footprint/space of the printer. Also the maintenance of changing the Filament will happen more or less on the backside of the printer. If you have enough space arround your printer and you don´t plan to put your printer in a housing for printing other stuff than PLA, don´t progress to read. You can follow the instructions of Creality. Nearby, Ender 5 Plus, Creality rotated the spool by 90° :-). what? The soulution I constructed a simple Holder wich is feeded in in the upper edge of the cover of the x-axis-motor. Then clap/fold the holder downwards. Ther is no screw or tool needed. After this, run the cable into the clips. Ready. The cable will guided between filament-spool and moving bed. I tested it and it works great. If you use my "Dry Filamentbox" (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4056923) i would recommend to print this holder too because of the edges of the acrylic cover. CableholderX v10.stl is a newer more robust version of the v8. I recognized that the holding clips are not strong enough for a longer challenge on printer. Now I made them stronger.
