I opted for cable hangers from Pomona Electronics, which set me back around 18 bucks. However, I figured that cables wouldn't be too much of a strain even on high-performance PLAs in my estimation. Therefore, I came up with a modified version that's shorter and fatter to suit PLA filament better. This design is built to last and can withstand normal cable loads without any issues.
