Cable guide/hole for IKEA LACK table (with cap)
thingiverse
I designed a brand-new cable guide that I'm really proud of because most existing designs just didn't cut it for me. This cable guide features a non-standard thread that provides an extra-tight hold to your table, ensuring everything stays put where it should be. The minimum clamping height is 47.50 mm, while the maximum clamping height can reach up to approximately 55 mm. The inner hole diameter is spacious enough for a standard straight safety plug (also known as a shock-proof plug) to easily pass through. To accommodate this guide on your table, you'll need to drill a hole with an outer diameter of 50 mm using a core hole drill or saw. If the thread doesn't fit at first, don't worry! Just screw and unscrew it a few times until it's securely in place. To make things easier, apply some oil like silicone oil when the thread is especially tight. Got questions or suggestions? Let me know through the comments below. I'm here to help if you need any assistance with this design. If there's a specific type of cable guide you're looking for that I haven't covered yet, feel free to ask and I'll do my best to create a custom design tailored just for you!
