This design serves multiple purposes, functioning both as a fan grill and a cable management system. It effectively keeps print head cables away from the print bed, thereby reducing strain on the extruder motor and preventing potential damage to the cables. My remix offers an alternative to the original design by replacing the traditional grill with a honeycomb pattern. This modification allows for added creativity and customization, as it can be printed in two separate parts in different colors. After printing, these parts can be easily assembled using a press fit or secured with a small amount of superglue. The fan grill remains fully compatible with a fan shroud, making it simple to incorporate into existing designs without disrupting the cable layout. My revised design also offers improved accessibility for cables and sheathing, streamlining the installation process. Finally, securing all components in place is achieved by tightening a cable tie around the cable guide.
