This part shields the sheet metal cover from damaging cables for the hotend. There's no need to take apart the hotend assembly. Print in PET-G or ABS, or similar flexible materials. (PLA won't work since the filament needs to be flexible.) Mounting instructions: 1) Push the part around the cables and PTFE tube. 2) Lower it onto the sheet metal piece. 3) Squeeze the open end shut. 4) Insert the full radii side, then push down sideways. 5) Push the open side down. 6) Release, lean back, and feel proud of yourself - you're done!
