Cable Grommet

Cable Grommet

The visible hole in the back of my entertainment unit was distracting when watching television so I wanted a way to block it off while still letting the cables through. While the entertainment unit came with a grommet it had no shroud and was glued in place and fell out so I wanted one that would be securely held in place.Printed in PLA, no support required, orientation of parts is set in the files. In my case I used black since the whole point was to block the light from the other side. The shroud slots over the rear piece and the nut then pulls it against the back of the unit securing it in place.Designed for 61mm diameter hole and a panel thickness of about 16mm, however you can modify to your liking in Onshape here:https://cad.onshape.com/documents/680fa218dfd6a5bd42a06d97/v/4347fb9de72aa26e69bf693d/e/e6258657b29106691606620aSTEP file is also included if you want to modify in another tool, though obviously you won't get the parametric editing in that case.
