Cable Gaff Tape Ramp

Cable Gaff Tape Ramp

I am a sound technician who has had enough of dealing with gaffer tape's sticky residue on cables. It's time for a change, and I've come up with a simple solution to keep my cables clean and free from adhesive mess. My idea is to create a cable ramp that fits multiple cables at once, making it easy to secure them in place without leaving any residue behind. The design is compact and can be scaled up or down depending on the application. I plan to test these ramps in low-traffic areas every three feet, placing a cover over the cables and securing it with tape. When the job is done, simply pull off the tape, and your cables are ready for storage without any sticky residue left behind. It's a simple design that should make my life as a sound technician much easier. Here are the print settings I used: * Printer: LulzBot Mini * Rafts: None * Supports: None * Resolution: 0.5 mm * Infill: 25% To achieve the best results, print the device vertically. I based my design on traditional cable ramps that cover entire cables, but mine is much smaller and only covers part of the cable. My goal was to create a device that secures cables to the ground without direct contact with adhesive. The requirements for this project were to minimize material usage, reduce the profile, and withstand approximately 200 pounds of weight, which is equivalent to a person or most road cases.
