I finally figured out a simple solution that really solved my problem! I needed to be able to run some electrical wire through flexible conduit. I came up with this easy adapter to put on the end of the cable. The outer diameter of the adapter is 12mm and it fits snugly onto 1.5mm Twin and Earth electrical cable, which is commonly used for lighting here. It's a friction fit that works much better than expected. I was using 20mm conduit with an inner diameter of about 16mm. This worked perfectly for me on the first try. Previously, I had been struggling for over an hour to get the cable through by taping and using lubricant - it just wasn't working. That's why I love 3d printing so much!
