Cable clip with screw or nail fixing tab

Cable clip with screw or nail fixing tab

Here is a very simple cable clip that can be printed with either a screw fixing tab or a nail fixing tab. The clip has one hole for the screw version or two smaller holes for the nail version, providing versatility and flexibility. I required a way to run a cable along a wooden ceiling beam, so I designed a clip to securely hold it in place. To achieve this, I printed the clips using ABS plastic for added strength and durability. The nail fixing tab turned out to be the perfect solution for my needs, with two small nails providing sufficient support for each clip. The design proved to be highly effective. To generate the cable clip, simply uncomment one of the following lines, hit F5, then F6: CableClipWithNailFixingTabRounded(); or CableClipWithScrewFixingTabRounded(); You can easily modify the cable size by adjusting the diameter (the STL samples provided are for 7mm) and the opening gap angle. A 120-degree angle works well, but you may want to try a 90-degree angle if you prefer a tighter fit. However, keep in mind that angles larger than 120 degrees can make it too easy to remove the cable.
