Cable Clip

Cable Clip

I got tired of my power cord slipping under the table every time I unplugged my laptop, so I designed a small component that would allow the cord to pass through with ease while preventing it from falling off the edge of the table. I was looking for an uncomplicated way to attach the clip to the table without resorting to complex mechanisms, so I opted for press-fit instead. To make the holder stay securely in place, I attached rubber pads to the top and bottom of the clamp using Gorilla Glue Gel. The part is customizable in Fusion 360, and I recommend setting these parameters: TableThickness CableRadius (note that this is not the diameter, but rather the radius of the cable) PaddingThickness (if you use a different material than the foam sheet, refer to the picture)
