Cable Clip
thingiverse
I needed something to keep my charge cables from slipping away behind my nightstand. Every night, I charge not only my iPhone but also my Apple Watch and my son's iPhone at the same time. Initially, I attempted to print Thing:184626, but unfortunately, the slots failed to securely hold the cables as I had hoped. While my primary goal was to prevent them from falling behind, this solution allows me to store them neatly instead. Now everything is immaculately organized when they are not in use. To simplify the process, I borrowed the hinge design from Thing:330151 and incorporated it into a single-piece print. To facilitate easy retraction, I cable-tied small weights (small bolts) to each cable. Printer Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Modified Ecksbot Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.3mm layer height Infill: 30% Notes: Using a print cooler significantly improves the quality of overhangs in the first few layers.
