Cable Chain v45

Cable Chain v45

Designed to work with a .2 mm print height, but feel free to experiment and push the limits. Print without supports - they easily snap together to form a very strong yet flexible chain with little friction. A retainer clip securely holds wires in place. I've used these on my CR-10s for several years with no failures at all. This design has a link length of 30mm center-to-center on the link pins, and an overall width of 20mm, making it perfect to fit alongside the 20mm gantry on my CR-10. However, it can be used in many other applications as well. The overall height is 11mm, allowing for a snug fit without taking up too much space. The volume was carefully designed to carry all cables necessary to the hotend of my CR-10. To un-link the segments, gently bend the links in the opposite direction until they separate. I have some other sizes used for the heated bed along with strain reliefs and for the Z axis carrier that I'm excited to post soon. This design was part of a project to clean up the cabling of the CR-10s, just like the CR-10s Pro did before it came out. A fully parametric design is available, so I can create custom sizes upon request. Your feedback is greatly appreciated and will help me improve this design further. **Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Unported** Under these terms: Attribution - You must give credit to the original creator, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made.
