Cable Chain Remix for Pro Operation
thingiverse
This is a rework of spauda01's http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1167746 to allow the chain to function as installed on industrial equipment - two 'legs' of chain run parallel with a single loop at the far end, constraining the cable to a specific diameter of bend. To accomplish this, I remodeled the ends slightly to enable proper orientation, and adjusted their positioning so that they attach to the rear of the rails, allowing for unobstructed motion and sufficient space above for the loop to gather. You will need regular in-between chain pieces from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1167746. The standard chain worked perfectly on my basic D-bot build, but since I'm now going taller, there were going to be problems when the bed was at a low position with the chain hitting the rear side rail. Print Settings: Rafts: No Supports: No Notes: When printing, orient the parts so that the groove fits into the V-slot vertically and the screw hole is nearest the bed.
