UPDATE 09-05: Model upgraded to v1.3. This revision introduces cosmetic improvements only compared to the v1.2 version. Fresh photo renders have been added, and all original source files are now included alongside the revised usage license that has changed from CC to GPL. Users are encouraged to explore their feedback and suggestions! \nUPDATE 09-02: Following the valuable inputs from Thorn at YouMagine (https://youmagine.com/designs/cable-chain#!comments), I have upgraded the model from v1.2 to v1.3. Notably, I have rolled back one of the two main modifications made in version v1.1 and incorporated slits into the female tabs. The improved connection method prevents link separation when bending the chain and rotating individual links with respect to each other. \nUPDATE 07-02: Feedback was instrumental in propelling the model from its initial v1.0 stage to a revamped version v1.1. Please note that the photo renders still depict v1.0 visuals. This innovative cable chain distinguishes itself through a distinct connection system. In this setup, when bent or rotated, individual links adjust their orientation smoothly, ensuring that no protrusions are visible. \nPrimarily intended for 3D printers like the Prusa model, start and finish linkages have been omitted from the original design. It is anticipated that either they will be incorporated later or left open to customization via inclusion of SolidWorks source files, empowering users with redesign capabilities! \nThe process of printing this product requires particular care due to its challenging nature. Success has consistently been linked to printing at a moderate pace and implementing adequate support material. An added recommendation is rotating the object during the printing process while utilizing a cooling fan.
