Cable Chain Offset
thingiverse
I fully drew this model in Fusion360 using the CableChain_40MountSide_v2.stl as a base, giving credit where it's due to the original author of the cable chain. This design is a direct result of testing and verifying its compatibility with existing chains, which was a crucial step in creating a functional product. The idea behind this model came after I printed a remix of the Teaching Tech Ender 3 all-in-one universal rear electronics case on Thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4269399), where I recently upgraded to the SKR E3 Mini board, which is an excellent upgrade by the way. My only concern with this new setup was the noise caused by the heated bed cable moving back and forth, prompting me to create a solution that would link a cable chain to it, making each iteration more effective than the last. In the end, I designed the Extended-Offset_Tall file as the final version, as the cable chain was still brushing against the 2020 frame, although not significantly enough to be a major issue.
